It was way too early but Robin F is (still) looking fresh! We had to go to the airport at 06:00 AM in the morning!




Orlando Airport, picking up our van. Again an extremely huge one! And no, not the cool one you see in the back of the picture ;)




Pre-production: we'll go through the songs with our producer James and see how to improve the songs before recording. This can differ from having to write new lyrics to a part, changing a drum-rhythm or cutting a certain part out of the song.




We use a couple of different amplifiers and guitars in the studio. On this picture I'm holding a custom made Tom Anderson Telecaster that we use on a lot of the songs for certain guitar parts.




A day of recording might seem like a lot of fun, and it is too, but it's also hard work because you have to stay focussed for hours in a row to give every take the best you got.




This is the appartment we stay in during our stay here in Florida. We like it a lot. You can see our van too.




The street were our appartment is at. It's really beautiful and Robin L and I go running here every morning.




James working. We're still super excited about working with him. It's such a great feeling when you work with somebody who's exactly at the same page, and comes up with a lot of cool new and inspiring ideas which take your songs to a next level.




A lake pretty close to our appartment. It's huge. The sky on this picture really reminds me of Dutch skies, you don't see them a lot like this over here.




Robin L working on lyrics. Most of the time Robin L will write about things that happen in our life or to people close around us. It's always great to hear when people tell us they can really relate to the lyrics.




In the recording process drums is mostly one of the first things you record. Robin F recorded the drumtracks to the 6 songs we're recording in two and a half days. You also spend a lot of time tuning and tweaking the drums before you start the actual recordings.
